Blackbird Abstract

This reminds me of an abstract paining. In homage to John and Paul for creating one of my all-time favorite songs.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free

Blackbird fly, blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night

Blackbird fly, blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night

Hawks, Coyote Valley

It’s fairly easy to get a picture of a hawk in Coyote Valley. The hard part is figuring out what kind of hawk you are seeing. You’ve got to admit, whatever type, it is a beautiful bird.

Checking my guides, I’m thinking the first one is a Red-shouldered Hawk and the second is a Red-tailed Hawk.
