This great egret flew over to this prime fishing post and told the night-heron to buzz off. The night-heron obliged and the egret became king.
Several egrets were fishing near this dam at the Baylands one morning. Watching them fight over the perfect spot was entertaining. This is what we mean by “don’t ruffle my feathers!”
I recently took a photography course called Photographing Nature through Stanford Continuing Studies. It was great fun and I remembered what a delight it is to get a great shot. To keep me out there taking photos, I decided to start a photography blog to share my shots and my enthusiasm. Enjoy my pictures!
