Coming in to SFO from Portland, I got this shot of the Bay Bridge. It’s hard to get a great shot from inside an airplane, but I liked this even thought it’s blurry. It was taken with my prime lens (34mm) wide open at f1.8. I capped my ISO at 200 so I sacrificed clarity for no graininess.
The Golden Gate connects the Pacific Ocean with San Francisco Bay. You can only get this view of the bridge from a boat. I loved sailing underneath the bridge. What a treat.
Who knew that the day we we were invited to go sailing on the bay, there would also be the Rolex Big Boat yacht races. Seriously cool to be out there with all these boats racing. At one point, we even sailed right in front of some of these boats.
An amazing day was had by all sailing New Morning on a gloriously sunny day on San Francisco Bay. Thank you Fay and Russ!
